Palmisano wanted to create an employee handbook that was a beautiful and rich experience, and that felt like it embodied the history and culture of their company. While their current brand identity is quite clean and modern, we created a more layered and rough feeling visual style for this.

The book covers more than the usual scope of an employee handbook, spanning 85 pages and places the expected overview of the company alongside Palmisano family recipes, inspiring quotes picked by the Palmisano team and unexpected visual ephemera. Sprinkled throughout the pages are handwritten notes, doodles and smudges to give it a real and useable feel. This project was created in collaboration with Rapjab studio in New Orleans, I created all the visual content and designed the piece from concept to completion.
